Teaching councils

The didactic goals of the Faculty are:

  • providing students with comprehensive knowledge in the field of digital transformation of the modern economy and its organizations in the context of the development and impact of the Internet, mobile solutions and other modern information technologies (cloud computing, Big Data, Internet of Things, blockchain, artificial intelligence);
  • providing students with comprehensive knowledge in the field of enterprise financing and financial analysis, local government finances and financing of local and regional development, sustainable regional development, evaluation of public policies and programmes, smart development specializations;
  • providing students with comprehensive knowledge in the field of cultural and economic conditions of international capital and people migration, social and economic development of the region, cross-border cooperation, the Chinese economy and its relations with Poland, and socio-economic processes of China;
  • providing students with comprehensive knowledge of business ethics, multiculturalism of Europe and the region, the foundations of law, commercial law, patent law, substantive law and the system of municipal self-government;
  • providing students with comprehensive knowledge in the field of analysing the key resources of the organization from the perspective of its competitive advantage;
  • transfer of knowledge in the field of regional and local development policy, social policy and the labour market, competitiveness of regions, development strategies, functioning of municipal governments, demographic conditions for the development of regions and their consequences, internal and external migration, transfer of innovation and knowledge in the region, development of entrepreneurship;
  • transfer of knowledge in the field of macroeconomics, microeconomics, international economics, economics of labour markets;
  • providing students with comprehensive knowledge in the field of constitutional law, administrative law, European law and intellectual property law as well as protection of human rights;
  • carrying out bachelor’s and master’s diploma theses in the field of the above-mentioned issues.
