WHAT SUBJECT IS IMPORTANT TO PASS DURING A MATURITY EXAM?
A modern, foreign language and two of the following subjects: physics, geography, history, information technology, Polish language, mathematics, social studies.

Our aim is to educate people who possess extensive economical knowledge enabling to provide answers for difficult and burning queries. The practical and theoretical knowledge acquired during the studies at the department of economy opens the possibility to perform a job of an economist as an expert in this field.
Participation in the interesting and unique classes, led mainly by young faculty, enables to acquire knowledge, skills and competences desired by the employers.
Students may take part in workshops and courses organized for them. They can also activate themselves in scientific student organizations or learn the Chinese language without payment.
A student of the department of administration may undertake one semester (or a year) at one of 150 partner universities under the auspices of international student scholarship exchange Erasmus+.
Our graduates successfully find employment e.g. in: companies, government and self-government administration institutions or business support organizations. The educational path offered to the students also enables them to develop skills necessary for individual performance of business.
The assessment granted by the Polish Accreditation Committee to the faculty guarantees a high quality level of education.
FIRST CYCLE DEGREE PROGRAMME
The programme lasts 6 semesters in a daily full – time mode – S (on site) and 6 semesters in a part – time mode – NS (extramural).
The studies are completed with a Bachelor degree (licencjat).
Basic educational contents involve e.g.:
- micro and macro economy,
- management,
- law,
- accounting.
Among the facultative contents there are e.g.:
- economical analysis,
- economical integration in Europe,
- introduction to e-business.
By choosing a packet of selectable subjects, the students can follow two Majors:
Economy and financial management (S, NS),
This Major covers among others: issues of banking, accounting, managerial accounting, elements of finances, private finances, company finances
- economy and entrepreneurship (S, NS).
That Major covers educational areas such as: marketing in theory and practice, marketing business operations in practice, negotiation and mediation techniques, projects management, entrepreneurship and business games.
The graduates of the department of economy of first cycle studies are equipped with the basics of economical knowledge as well as knowledge of social sciences.
The educational programme enables the students to expand their knowledge and acquire skills connected with application of advanced tools serving to investigate and perform prognosis of economical processes as well as to model their proceedings in the conditions of economy basing on expertise.
